When their families are posted to the remote military base of Snakebite Cove, five very different animal friends come together to uncover secrets, survive wild adventures and solve a long- forgotten mystery lurking just beneath the surface of their new home town.

Calling their group the Defence Kidz, they begin unravelling the mystery of Snakebite Cove, one dangerous secret at a time!

Giving a voice to Defence Kidz 🛡️🧸

Recently, we launched our first graphic novel specifically designed for the children of defence personnel and veterans – Defence Kidz: Operation Snakebite Cove.

Defence Kidz aims to give a voice to children of defence families. Frequent relocations, extended periods of separation from a parent, and the anxiety of having a loved one in potentially dangerous situations are everyday realities for these kids.
